Mary Christine Brockert, professionally known as Teena Marie wrote the song 'Lovergirl' which was released in 1984 on her Starchild (expanded edition) album. Teena's song was nominated for a Grammy award for best female R&B vocal performance. Sadly in 2010 the singer/songwriter passed away at the age of just 54 years old.

The band was formed in Liverpool and was extremely popular in the 60's to early 70's. The main members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. Unfortunately, Paul and Ringo are the only ones out of the four that are still alive today. The Beatles were since regarded as the most influential band of all time.

Fun Fact

The song Yesterday came to Paul McCartney in a dream and when The Beatles would perform it he would be the only one to sing it. Paul stated, "I woke up with a lovely tune in my head. I thought, that's great, I wonder what that is?"

A 1 hour and 52 minute long film from 2007 starring Dwayne Johnson and Madison Pettis as the leading actors. The Game Plan was directed by Andy Fickman and did pretty well for itself raking in $146.6 million in the box office.

Plot Synopsis

Football star Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson) is a very successful football player who plays for the Boston Rebels. Joe thinks he has it all, the wealth, the power, and the women. The issue is Joe isn't a very upstanding guy, he is extremely cocky because of the fame from his successful career. One day he receives unexpected news; he has a daughter. Joe's 8 year old daughter, Peyton, (Madison Pettis) secretly runs away from home just to meet him, but he is not what she expected.

Fun Facts

In one scene where Joe's bulldog, Spike, needed to lick the food off his hand Dwayne Johnson had to cover it in a mix of tuna and other foods for the dog to do it. At the time Dwayne Johnson also said that The Game Plan would be his last film where he would be credited as "The Rock".

Plot Synopsis

Some thugs and a sadistic mobster break into his home and take his car and kill the dog that his wife gave to him as a gift. All hell breaks loose when John Wick comes out of retirement to avenge his dog and take back whats his.

Keanu Reeves did most of his own stunts in John Wick. Keanu told Willie Geist, "All the actions done in the movies are carried out solely by me. I do 90% of what goes on there. I try to maintain a connection with my audience."

Supernatural

The shows first season was released in 2005 and the last season (season 15) was released in 2020. There are usually 23 episodes per season and the theme song for the show is Carry On Wayward Son by the rock band Kansas. Eric Kripke created the shows first five seasons but then left and since that time many people have written for the show.

Supernatural is about two brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) fighting the supernatural. The brothers first set out on a mission to find their father, John, (Jeffery Dean Morgan) who is also a hunter and who they believe to have gone missing. Sam, the younger brother has a rocky relationship with their father so he distanced himself from the family by going off to college, but now that his dad is missing he is being pulled back into the hunting life.

Fun Fact

Jensen Ackles, Jeffery Dean Morgan and Jared Padalecki all got matching tattoos in honor of supernatural and their friendship during Jeffrey Dean Morgan's wedding.

The Blacklist

The first pilot episode of The Blacklist was released in 2013 and is currently still ongoing as it is on its 9th season. The show is about a man named Raymond Reddington aka "Red" who went from being an ex-government agent to now being a criminal on the criminals most wanted list. Raymond surrenders himself to the FBI to get close to a woman named Elizabeth Keen who is a profiler for the FBI. She quickly realizes he knows too much about her, so a deal is made.

The show is partially based on a real life criminal.
